When attempting to authenticate Zendesk Support inside Salesforce, you get a null error after entering Zendesk Support subdomain, agent email, and Zendesk API token for password.
- Must have SSL enabled to integrate Zendesk Support with Salesforce to comply with the Salesforce security policy. SSL is enabled by default in Zendesk Support, but additional steps are required if you are using host-mapping.
- This only applies to Zendesk For Salesforce app version 4.8.2 and older
Cause & Resolution
If you're using host-mapping:
Upload an SSL certificate to Zendesk Support. For more information, see Setting up hosted SSL
If you're not using host-mapping:
If not using host-mapping, enable SSL (Admin icon () > Settings > Security) and disable host-mapping (Admin icon () > Settings > Account).
