The JIRA app in Zendesk Support is loading, but a "Did you follow the installation instructions..." error message appears in the app sidebar.

- This is happening after attempting a first-time installation or a reinstallation.
Cause and resolution
- Uninstall the JIRA app in Zendesk, Admin > Manage (under Apps)
- In JIRA, go to Manage add-ons > Zendesk for JIRA > Configure > 'Disconnect from Zendesk'
- Uninstall the Zendesk for JIRA add-on in JIRA.
- Logout from both JIRA and Zendesk
- In a new browser window, login as an admin in Zendesk and an admin in JIRA.
- Reinstall the Zendesk for JIRA add-on in JIRA. This will also install the JIRA app in Zendesk.
