Answer To remove attachments from tickets in any status, you can use the Ticket Redaction App. If your ticket is Closed, you can permanently delete the ticket as per Deleting tickets. As many have commented about, from an auditing/compliance perspective it's necessary to both have the ability to redact attachments AND retain data in regards to the ticket and/or ticket information.
