How do I delete or manage scheduled Insights report and dashboards emails? Follow

    Hello! =)

    For some reason, I am only able to delete or create new scheduled emails. I am registered as a full administrator. What setting might be missing to allow me to edit these?

    Hey Christopher - 

    Are the dashboards you're trying to edit private or global schedule? 

    I ask because if they're private, you can't edit them, they have to simply be deleted and new ones created.

    Hello Nicole,

    I am unsure what you mean by "global schedule", however they are indeed public and not private if this is what you are referring to?

    Apologies for the wording confusion. It sounds like this might be something we need to take into a ticket to resolve; look for an email from me shortly.

    Hi Christopher!

    Thank you for that great question regarding the difference between Global vs. Private emails in Insight. This article Insights email schedules: Global vs Private will give a breakdown the the differences between the two, it has a nice grid of options and comparisons. Also, this article: Viewing and editing existing email schedules should walk you thought on how to view/update existing schedules. 

    Just to note that you cannot perform any edits to private schedules, and instead must delete the dashboard email schedule under Controls, then create a new one. You would have to remake the schedule as Nicole stated before :) unfortunately this is a limitation of Insights.

    Thank you! In this case, it is indeed a private schedule since I send it to select members of our staff only. I shall simply continue to delete and recreate the schedule when need be. Thank you for your reply!
