Question
How can I see user's email addresses in Insights?
Answer
The email address is not a displayable attribute within Insights. This restriction is setup as a security measure, as Insights is hosted by a third party. However, there is a drill in setting you can add to your report, so if you click the user ID, it should take you to the user's profile within Support.
If you export that list, you can extract those user IDs and use the API below to extract the email addresses:
https://subdomain.zendesk.com/api/v2/users/UserIdHere.json

I organize data so that I can see which customers are asking about certain product availability. It would be great to export that data and have email addresses to follow up with customers.
By the way Explore does allow you to report on email addresses
I have the same question. I understand that within my pro version, I can request access to access through the manage report feature.
Is there a reason using the third party reporting application Skyvia allows you to see the email addresses?
Hi Bill
They should integrate differently with Zendesk. By using our API, they may pull email addresses from the tickets
Is there a way to create a simple report based on Organization that will give me the name and email address for all members of the organization?
Hey James,
As Rebecca mentioned in her post, there is not a way to create this report within Insights. We do not pass an email address to Insights like this for security reasons. You would need to create a report like Rebecca pointed out to show a user ID in a drill-in, then you can click on that user ID to take you to their profile in Zendesk.
