Why do I see discrepancies between the number of article votes (up vote, down vote, net vote) in the Knowledge Base reporting dashboard and the JSON data from the API?
Article votes that were later removed or changed are still included in the Knowledge Base reporting dashboard and taken into account when calculating for the net vote total. The dashboard also records the number of clicks as equal to the number of votes.
An end-user gives an up vote to an article, but then changes their mind and gives it a down vote. This switch in votes, would count as two votes in the native Knowledge Base reporting dashboard. The API however, would not include deleted votes and would only include the most recent vote from that user.
