Automated email received from Support with the message: The target 'Salesforce Target' has been temporarily disabled due to too many failures. You can re-enable the target from Admin () > Settings > Extensions > Targets to continue sending messages to the target, but please check the possible reason of these failures by testing the target first.
- You must be an account administrator to view or change these settings.
- All admins within the account will be notified of this deactivation.
When Support and/or another app is experiencing connectivity issues some tools still run on the backend, for example targets that are still attempting to run, but connection failure occurs.
All targets in Support automatically become deactivated after 21 failed attempts to send. You can easily resolve this by going to Admin ( ) > Settings > Extensions > Targets and reactivating the target.
If you're having trouble with an HTTP or URL target, you can view the information returned by the third-party service or REST API that the target tried to access.
- In Zendesk Support, click the Admin icon () in the left sidebar, then select Channels > API.
- Select the Target Failures tab.
