Can I use or set up an SMTP relay for sending or receiving emails?
Answer
No, Zendesk does not allow any server relay or SMTP configuration within Zendesk. Zendesk servers will be used for all mail unless you are using the "Send Email via Gmail" option with the Google connector (which will then in turn use Google servers to send mail).
If you are interested in this feature being available in the feature, we recommend you create a feature request on our Product feedback forums.

This would be fantastic for us -- and also allow us to reduce the number of SPF records we have to maintain.
