    This is super exciting! Are there plans to add custom resources into the Support UI so admins can create/manage resource types and records, without using the API & needing a developer?

    @Stephen - Absolutely, we intend to integrate them more directly into the native UI. More details to come on that front. We intend to learn from how customers use it via the API and our Apps Framework to help inform the eventual native UI integration.

    This feature sounds intresting.

     

    We´re also voting for UI implementation, not API only.

     

    Some use case sharing:

    We´ve some "Warranty System" so if customer may can register their products (with serial number) on Helpcenter, it´s a nice use case that they can click to:

    1.) Helpcenter

    2.) My Products

    Select registered product

    -> Submit Request Support

    -> Ask for Warranty Number

    -> Check Warranty Status

    I think some additional benefits can achieve with that feature.

    We try to get access to Custom Ressources API on our Zendesk account but no reponse from you. We use the http://goto.zendesk.com/custom-resources-la Form.


    Please can you tell us what to do to activate this function ?

    It sounds like they're adding people in waves; Joe said he'd pop in with an update when they do the next round of additions, but he did not have an ETA on when that will be.
