Excellent! This is what I needed to know. However how to I adjust the metadata in the Document Head? Can you link me to that article in your answer?

    Hi Margaret!

There isn't an article that deals with this specifically, but you can find the document header by going to your Help Center and clicking Guide Admin > Customize Design > View Theme > 3 dot button > Edit code > document_head.hbs.

Then just make the adjustments you need to there!

Hi, in that case, if I wanted to ignore some articles (as they are outdated) from Google Search, how would I do that?

    Hi Techsupport -

The best way to do this is to restrict the visibility of that content to signed-in users or a user segment. Here are a couple of articles that should help you out:

Preventing Google from indexing a specific article

Restricting access to knowledge base content

Hopefully that helps - let us know if you have additional questions!

Hi. Can Zendesk assist to resubmit this page for Google to index :-

    https://gogetmy.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000146646-Rates-and-Pricing-on-GoGet

the reason is, it appears outdated on Featured Snippet on SERP, and it's very important as it's price sensitive.

Please also do suggest alternatives or workaround. Thank you.

    Hey Bartholomew,

We won't be able to submit this from our end. You'll want to go through Googles documentation to have then recrawl your website as mentioned here: Ask Google to recrawl your URLs

    I hope this helps!

    Hi

Is it possible to put a dynamic tag in the document_head.dbs that would effectively call in something like the the page title from the article which with some additional hard-coded text that could form a meta description?

An example below on line 2?
