Why does the Web Widget display no results when attempting to search?

    Many thanks for this article! To clarify:

    • Host mapping is required in order to use Help Search Widget on Site?
    • If Host mapping is required, then buying Guide Professional would not be enough to be able usse the Help Search Widget. I would have to buy Team Support as well?

    I double checked and it looks like you're correct and you would need to at least be on the Team plan to have host mapping functionality. More information here Host mapping - Changing the URL of your help center

    Hello, 

    This problem - widget incorrectly displays no results - comes up once in awhile for us. It doesn't happen every time a user searches, just enough to cause confusion and frustration. 

    I've double checked the host mapping settings and the SSL certificate, and everything is in order. Any other reasons (maybe less common) that we might be seeing this issue?
