I'm happy to introduce a new feature today that will help you manage your knowledge base more effectively in Zendesk Guide. Bulk article actions will allow you to perform actions across a set of articles all at once.
Bulk article actions will be available for all Zendesk Guide customers, from Lite to Enterprise.
How does it work?
You often need to update a single property to a number of different articles at once. Be that applying labels, publishing, or something else.
From Manage articles, select multiple articles in the list interface.
Once you've selected one or more articles, you'll see context menus at the bottom where you can select an action to perform. From there, you'll be asked to confirm your actions before your updates are performed.
To learn more, see Updating knowledge base articles in bulk.
What actions will be available?
You can make the following updates using bulk actions:
- Publish or unpublish articles
- Change labels on articles
- Archive or restore articles
- Delete articles
- (Guide Enterprise only) Assign or unassign articles
- (Guide Enterprise only) Submit articles for review
- (Guide Enterprise only) Submit articles for approval
When will this be available?
We're starting the roll out today, August 31st, and it should be available in all accounts by the end of the day on Tuesday, September 4.
