How can I add a vanity or personalized number in Zendesk Talk?
It is possible to search for a specific string of letters or numbers when you choose a Talk number in the Choose your number' window as shown below.
It is also possible to search for the string further along in the number by using asterisks to denote the position of the string. For example, to search for a US number ending in '123', use asterisks to denote that the first four numbers in the part of the number after the area code can be anything, but that the fifth, sixth, and seventh numbers need to be '123'. This returns results similar to what is shown below.
It is not possible to guarantee that a number with the specific string you want is available. However, you can purchase the vanity number externally and then move it into Talk. For more information, see the article: Porting numbers for Zendesk Talk.
