You apply management permissions to an article in your knowledge to set the edit and publish permissions for that article. On Lite you can apply only the default management permissions. On Professional and Enterprise, you can also apply custom management permissions based on user segments.
You can create an article list of all articles with a specific management permission. Alternatively, if you're on Professional or Enterprise, when you view a custom management permission, you can access a list of all articles where that management permission is applied.

You can create an article list to view all articles with specific management permissions.
To create an article list of all articles with specific management permissions
- In Guide, click the Manage articles (
) icon in the sidebar.
Your All articles list opens by default.
- Click Filters, then select Management permission.
- Select a specific management permission from the list.
A list of articles with that management permission appears.
- If you're on Professional or Enterprise and would like to save your list, click Save search as list.
Viewing a management permission and where it is applied (Professional and Enterprise)
When you view a custom management permission, you can access a list of all articles where that management permission is applied.
- In Guide, click the User permissions icon (
) in the sidebar.
- Click Management permissions in the sidebar.
- Click any management permission to open a list of articles where that management permission is applied.
