The pain point
Since Chat Analytics launched over four years ago, a common request we heard from customers was the need to see analytics data for the current day and having to wait a day to get data is not efficient for support team managers.
Since then, Zendesk has made some significant infrastructure changes that now allows the Chat dashboard to support showing the current day data in Chat/Agent reports in Analytics.
What has changed?
You will now see an option for last 24 hours in the date range dropdown:
You will also be able to select the current day when using the Custom Date Range option:
Note: Current day data is restricted to the last completed hour.
When will it be available?
It is available to all customers with access to Analytics (Professional/Advanced and above) in the Chat dashboard today.
