    I'm confused that when I click on Publish, it seems I can't publish my new dashboard until I forcefully share it with someone else. Why? This is a silly restriction and makes no sense.

    Also there is no indication that I've now published my dashboard from the dashboard screen. It would be good to make the Publish option from the drop down menu greyed out if the dashboard has already been published and no further changes have been made since.

    I'm noticing reporting is very slow to refresh in queries and in the dashboard even if I open it, adjust and log out and back in. How often do ZD show live results? My team is trying to meet a goal and it still shows they have not met that goal in reports.

    Hi Melissa, Explore data is refreshed every hour with Explore Professional and every day for Explore Lite. I hope this helps.

    Hi Ashish, the Publish command refreshes updates users you have already shared the dashboard with, so that they can see the new version.

    @Rob Stack - Hourly...got it. I'm a eager beaver and I check sooner than that so I'll keep that in mind. Hoping it will eventually be more frequent.
