We are currently investigating reports of the “Submit as” button in the Support agent interface appearing disabled, preventing ticket update submission. More updates to follow.
On January 24, 2019 at 23:56 UTC (January 25, 15:36 PT), we started receiving reports of the Ticket Submit button being unexpectedly greyed-out in Support for Conditional Fields app users.
This incident was caused by a recent deploy that conflicted with the Conditional Fields app’s method of disabling the Ticket Submit button. During the investigation, our team identified the deploy as the cause and rolled it back to resolve the issue.
To prevent this issue from occurring in the future, we have scheduled work to better handle the Ticket Submit button state through the Zendesk Apps Framework, while our engineers work on a more guarded rollout of the new code.
