As a commitment to improving the accessibility for our users and creating consistent experiences across our products, we’re making small changes to the UI of the Chat dashboard.
Starting early next week, you will notice subtle changes to the look and feel of the Chat dashboard UI.
What’s changing in the Chat UI?
- Call to action buttons and URLs will now appear in blue, instead of the previous orange color to provide higher contrast. The following images illustrate how the Chat dashboard will look different before and after the change:
Example 1: Before After
Example 2: Before After
Note: This interface will look slightly different if you have a Chat-only account
- The selection from multiple choices, on/off button and subsections will see a similar change from grey to white.
- In addition to these changes, starting October 24, we will also be updating the font type on the dashboard to your computer’s default font. With this change, the Chat dashboard will load faster, it will fit better with other applications on your computer and the text within the dashboard will become more clearly legible in select languages.
- Alongside the actual color update, we have also updated color palette for the disabled state to prevent confusion.
Are there any functionality changes?
