    Hi there! Awesome feature!

It grabbed my attention and I'd liked to clear many doubts.

Would it be able to include a checkbox? So that user would be able to accept GDPR Privacy Policy and we would be able to record this acceptation within the conversation, and perhaps tag it.

Furthermore, could we put clickable buttons with preset options, leading user to different answers (a specific contact e-mail) or actions (asign an agent)?

    Thank you so much!

    Hi Pablo!

We will be adding the ability to add rich media like buttons, quick replies, etc. in our chatbot solution. Stay tuned for more information on that before the end of this year. Currently, it is mainly text-based. Hope that helps!

Hi Sowmya, it seems that the generated access token does not have the required scopes, which are read, write, and chat. Please follow OAuth authentication guide to generate an access token with the 3 scopes mentioned. Cheers!

Hi Sumit. The Chat Conversations API is "just another agent". Where and how this "agent" surfaces is up to you. There's nothing inherent about the Chat Conversations API that makes it mobile or not.

Just for reference, here are a number of mobile demo apps that demonstrate mobile SDK features:

    Android SDK Demo Apps

    iOS SDK Demo Apps

    Hi Polomi,

I have created a chat bot solution using Microsoft Bot Framewrok hosted in Azure. The bot is currently embedded in a web portal using Microsoft Direct line channel. My requirement is to seamlessly hand-off the chat conversation to a live Zendesk Agent from the bot. Is this possible ? If yes, kindly help me with the process.

Hi Amit! MS framework would work with our conversations API. We have some documentation to get you started here: https://develop.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001331787. Hope that helps!

    Hi Polomi,

Thanks for your help. I have already tried out the chat conversation api and unfortunately it is not possible to seamlessly integrate the chat-hand off from any channels other than the Zendesk web widget. This is already mentioned at the top of the link that you provided as a limitation.

    "

    • Interacts only with website visitors that came from either the Zendesk Web Widget (native or customized with Mobile SDK) or the Zendesk Chat Widget (native or customized with Mobile SDK/Web SDK).

This has further been confirmed by the Zendesk Support Engineers. I can also share the discussion thread if you want.

    @Amit,

You wrote that your Azure chat bot is currently embedded in a web portal using Microsoft Direct line channel. Is this a different Web portal than Zendesk? I'm asking because I am looking into the possibility of linking to the Azure chat bot from Zendesk, and wasn't sure if it was feasible, since the sample code that I have seen is a react app or Angular 6 app, and I'm not sure if either of those can be integrated into the Helpdesk code.
