Which fields in the Formula editor in Explore are case-sensitive?
In Explore, you are able to type your own formulas into the Formula editor. In the formula editor, the names of fields are case-sensitive, however the names of all functions are not. In other words, all metrics and attribute names are case-sensitive in Explore, along with all string values. And all functions such as SUM() or IF THEN ELSE ENDIF are not.
For example, COUNT(tickets) is not the same as COUNT(Tickets) are not equivalent in Explore, because "Tickets" is the name of a metric, so it is case-sensitive in Explore. However, count(Tickets) and COUNT(Tickets) are equivalent, because "count" is the function in this example.
Also, all string searches are case-sensitive. For example, if you are creating a metric for a ticket tag with the following formula
IF [Ticket Tag] = "Explore" THEN COUNT(Tickets) ENDIF
Then this will return no data because all ticket tags are stored in all lower case.
