I'm trying to add a time filter to a dashboard, but there aren't any options to apply the filter to.

Answer
This happened because a dashboard was shared with the Editor or Admin, but they didn’t have access to the datasets used to create the dashboard.
To give the agent access to the datasets, you must change the dataset authorizations. For information on how to change the editor permissions, see Setting editor and admin permissions.
