Root cause Analysis
This incident was caused by an issue at a local Content Delivery Network (CDN) point-of-presence (PoP) that serves Zendesk site assets to local customers as they experienced an issue with a peering policy to their network provider.
Our CDN provider dropped the problematic peering policy with their network provider which resolved the issue.
We continue to Improve our monitoring tools to identify issues with our CDN provider as soon as possible to reduce impact duration for our customers.
