Issue Symptoms
I enabled Scoped search in Knowledge base in the Copenhagen theme but I keep getting results from multiple categories even though the description for this settings says "Search results are confined to the category the user is in".
Resolution Steps
Enabling the Scoped search in Knowledge base option, only scopes the search on the article page. The intent is to allow the user to search through the whole Help Center content when on the category or section pages.
If you have Zendesk Guide Professional or Enterprise, you can customize your Help Center theme and add the scoped search helper below in the Category page and the Section page.

I've added this into the category, section and search results pages on our sandbox yet the search results are still bringing back results from all sections?

If you add this code and refresh your browser or test from an Incognito window do you still get the same results? If so, any chance you could provide a screenshot of where you've entered this code so we can take a look?

If you added the code to you section page as well it should work there. Did you add it to both I assume? Can you provide a screenshot of the section page code?

Unless I'm misunderstanding you, wouldn't you want to use:
to only show articles within that section?

Thanks Brett - I swore I looked at your response and my screenshot multiple times to see if they matched!
I have tried it with true as well, but it still does not work.
It was set as false as per the resolution steps in this article - as you can see the advice states to add that code to both category and section pages.
Which is correct? (although, either way it's still not working)
