We’re excited to announce two brand new Sunshine plans joining our Zendesk family, Sunshine Enterprise and Sunshine Select.
Sunshine Enterprise will continue to be included with Support Enterprise purchases, as it is today; providing access to Custom Objects, with a product limit of 1 million object records and 1 million relationship records.
Sunshine Select will be a high volume offering of Custom Objects, with a limit of 100 million object records and 100 million relationship records. Sunshine Select comes with Support Elite, and can be added on to Support Enterprise.
What can I do with Custom Objects?
Custom Objects makes it possible to natively store and connect new data entities -- like your Products and Subscriptions -- and model your entire business in Zendesk. By offering greater scale and flexibility with the data that is most critical to providing excellent customer experience, we are providing a space to bring even more relevance into your agents’ workspaces.
Why should I consider Sunshine Select?
With Sunshine Select, customers can now start to integrate much larger data sets, ranging from Product Catalogues/SKUs, assets/equipment, IoT data and even high-transaction order histories.
For example, a company with a product catalogue might store that catalogue within Custom Objects to be related in a one-to-many fashion with tickets, users, and events. Storing those product-level SKUs will enable the opportunity to expose useful information to agents working on a return, exchange, or up sell. Building these relationships between purchase history and customer also provides greater insight into, and opportunity for, segmentation and contextualized proactive outreach.
By integrating this data into Sunshine, support agents will have much more context in a single place, be able to work in fewer, more complex systems, and be able to provide better, more efficient service. It can also help leverage third party systems for proactive service, like creating a ticket when a package gets delayed or goes missing in transit or catching when a device needs maintenance even before the customer is aware.
