Recreating and sharing your Insights reports in Explore

    "If you are moving from Insights to Explore, you'll need to recreate any existing Insights reports and dashboards that you want to keep, then reshare them with users." That is not a migration. That is re-creating.

    I just noticed one of my custom insights report has started appearing in Explore automatically. I don't know how that happened. It certainly wasn't there when I turned on Explore 4 months ago and wasn't migrated by me. The metrics used in that report were created by me as well. 

    If someone can explain please. 

    This proves that some sort of migration is possible. if thats the case I just have to migrate the queries and re-create the dashboards

    Hi Syed Raza we don't automatically convert Insights reports to Explore. It would be good to know what happened here, so I'll open a ticket from your comment so someone can help you investigate. Thanks!

    I know it doesnt happen and from all the forums I have been on I was convinced until now that it wasnt possible. I have raised ticket to understand what happened here. 

    below is an example of custom Insights report I created while back which started appearing in Explore this morning. not sure what happened here or if I pressed a magic button. would love to do that all over :)

    Hi Syed Raza, thanks for the additional clarification. Unfortunately, there's no magic button to convert Insights reports into Explore reports so there isn't a way this report could have been created automatically. Is it possible that someone else in your company with access to Explore created it? If that's not the case, please feel free to follow up in the ticket you opened and we'll try to help further.
