

If you are an end-user, you can edit your Help Center profile from any Help Center page.
If you are an agent or a Guide admin, you can edit only your description here. Your name, avatar, phone number, alias, and email address and are set in your Support user profile (see Updating your user profile and password).
To edit your Help Center profile
- Click your profile icon on the upper-right side of any Help Center page,
and then click My profile to display your profile.
- Click Edit profile.
- You can update any of these fields:
- Name

Alias
If you do not see this field, aliases have not been enabled for your Help Center. Your alias is used in place of your name when you create posts or comments. If you add, change, or remove an alias, all your historical posts and comments are updated too.
Note: This is different than an agent alias (where agents use an alias when communicating with a ticket requester). If you need to set up an agent alias, see Adding an agent alias. - Profile photo
- Phone
- Description
- Click OK.
Your Help Center profile is updated.

Hi there,
Is it possible to add custom user fields to this page, and allow end-users to change these fields?
An example of this could be address info or invoicing information.

It is not currently possible to add custom user fields to the user profile page. There are not currently any product feedback requests about this kind of functionality, so I'd encourage you to create one in the Guide Product Feedback topic in the community.
Hello.
We've had multiple end-users tell us they get an error page when trying to update their profile after they create an account. Some were able to update it after creating a post in the community, but the majority will not make a post. What is causing the error?

I see that you're also getting help with this issue in a private ticket. It looks like they've got a Problem Ticket going for this issue now; we'll keep you posted as they work through the issue.
We are also encountering that error that Melody Quinn mentioned. Zendesk support suggested going to "My Account" for the end-users to edit their profile. That being said, where is this option as I do not see it on the help center.
