My account uses 2-factor authentication to authenticate agents. I lost my phone and now I am trying to use one of my recovery codes but they aren't working.
It is very likely that when you copy and paste the codes, there is an extra space being added at the end of the codes.
To solve this issue
- Paste the recovery code in a text editor, for example, Notes if you have a Mac OS X or Notepad if you have Microsoft Windows.
- Place the cursor at the very last letter of the code. It is very likely there is an extra space after that last later.
- Remove that space, copy the code again and paste it one more time.
