Can I customize or edit the Type ticket field values of a ticket?
Answer
Unfortunately, ticket Type is a system ticket field and these values cannot be changed or modified. A workaround is to create your own custom ticket field.

It would be nice to save an alias name or description so internally the ticket type names translate to something more useful for our teams. Even if the name doesn't really change but could just display our alias/description next to it in the dropdown.
Question - Email
Incident - Order
Problem - Call
Task - Billing
It's kind of silly with all of the customization available in Zendesk that we have to translate these standard ticket type names to what we really use them for.
