Why do end users get the error You do not have access to this request when accessing the My Activities page in the Help Center?
This error can appear after merging one user profile into another user profile, if the email address of the profile you are merging the user into is not yet verified. This means that the user has yet to confirm ownership of the email address.
To fix this, the end user can verify the email themselves or an agent or admin can verify it for them.
To verify an email address as an end user
- Open the link below the error message that says "Click here to edit your profile settings and confirm your email". This automatically sends a verification link to the email address that needs to be verified.
- The end user receives an email in their inbox which contains a link to verify their email address.
To verify an email address as an agent or admin
- Search for the email address associated with the end user by using the search bar in your Support account.
- Select the unverified email and click Verify now.
