In Sell, you can set up and manage appointments and tasks for your leads, contacts, and deals. For example, when you add a new lead to your account, you might want to schedule a task to make a first contact with them. After you’ve made contact, you might then need to create an appointment for your first phone meeting.
A calendar with appointment and task management is an integral part of Sell. You can create an appointment or task on the lead, contact, or deal card, or directly in the Calendar or Tasks pages.
Your appointments and tasks are tracked along with all the other information you have about your leads, contacts, and deals.
For more information about creating appointments and tasks, see Creating and managing appointments for leads, contacts, and deals and Creating and managing tasks for leads, contacts, and deals.
If you’re already using Google Calendar or Microsoft Exchange, you can integrate those appointments and tasks into the Sell calendar.
When you set up an integration with an external calendar, you can add and edit appointments in either Sell or in the external calendar. The calendars are kept in sync.
For more information about setting up Sell to work with Google and Exchange calendars, see Integrating your Google Calendar with Sell and Integrating your Exchange Calendar with Sell.
In addition to syncing your Google calendar, you can also sync your Google tasks and contacts (see Integrating Sell tasks and contacts with Google).
In the Enterprise and Elite versions of Sell, you can also automatically generate tasks to automate your workflow. For example, you can assign new tasks to your team when a deal moves from one pipeline stage to another.
For more information, see Creating and using automated task actions.
