I would like to force all callers to my voicemail. How can I route all incoming calls to voicemail?
You can route all calls to voicemail by creating a dedicated voicemail group with no agents and routing all calls to that group.
To configure a number to route all calls to voicemail
- Upload a voicemail greeting for your number. For information on how to add new greetings, see the article: How do I add a new greeting?
- Create a new group with no agents in it titled Voicemail Group. For more information on how to create groups, see the article: Creating, managing, and using groups.
- Click the Admin icon (), then select Channels > Talk. Select the number you want to set up for voicemail routing and click Routing. Select Always route calls.
Under Group Routing, ensure that the only group activated is the Voicemail Group you created in step 2, then click Save changes.
With these settings configured, the routing page for your number should look like this:
