Apps are to Zendesk as peanut butter is to jelly. Here's an app we recommend checking out to extend and maximize your use of Zendesk:
This app tracks the availability of all agents in your account. It updates all pending, on-hold, and solved tickets with a tag when an agent is unavailable which can be extended to open tickets as too! It also can prevent manual assignment of tickets to an unavailable agent.
