What will the widget look like for my customers? Why is the chat option sometimes showing as a bubble and other times as an outdated pop up box?
Before a customer clicks
Before a customer clicks on the live chat option on your website, the widget will either look like a bubble or an image block with a typing box.
The bubble look is called the widget launcher and is available with all the different types of widgets. See more information on what text shows up on the launcher bubble in this article: What text and icon will show on my widget launcher when my customer first loads my website?
The chat badge is generally only available with chat-only or legacy chat accounts. The chat badge looks like a square with a text field. The badge can be customized with your own image or logo. See more on customizing the chat badge in this article: Customizing the Chat Badge.
After the customer clicks
After the customer clicks, the customer's experience with the chat interface also depends on what type of chat you have and how you've customized it.
