There is a Chat badge widget setting in standalone Chat accounts, which is hidden if the Chat account is integrated with a Support account using the Web Widget with other channels such as the Contact form or Talk. Is there a way to unhide the Chat badge setting, to allow for toggling that widget appearance on or off?
To unhide the badge setting
- In Support, go to Admin > Channels > Widget.
- Ensure that only the Chat channel toggle is enabled for any of your Web Widgets, like this example:
- Click Save,
- Navigate to Chat and go to Settings > Widget > Appearance. The Chat badge section should now appear:
When you finish editing the Chat badge, you can revert the changes made in the Widget settings in Support.
