If you are trying to send a message to your customer when they visit your site, you need to use a proactive Chat trigger.
The proactive trigger sends a message to your customer when they visit your website without them having to click the chat button. The proactive trigger will fire after a specified number of seconds. Create a new proactive trigger or modify the default triggers in your account:
- Update the number of seconds before the message appears in the Still on page condition.
- Update the message that is sent to your visitor in the Send message to visitor action.
