How can I make sure my agents are online in Chat? Is there a way to force my agents to sign in to Chat when Zendesk loads? Can I make my agents available automatically?
Only the agent signed in to Chat can change their status to Online. An administrator cannot force agents to go online or automate the sign in process.
However, if an administrator enables operating hours, all agents will see a warning asking them to go online once the agent signs in. Enabling operating hours allows you to remind your agents that they should be online between specific hours.
