While categorizing my macros, I noticed that the category list contains multiple instances of the same macro. Why does it show multiple instances of the same macro in categories?
The reason why you see multiple instances of the same macro in your categories is that the category title is case sensitive. If you type Heading1::product::type and heading1:product:type in the title of two different macros, the Macros page shows two categories in the list.
To fix this issue
- Go to Admin > Settings > Macros and click All categories.
- Change the dropdown to the category you want to delete.
- Open the macro listed under that category and change its name to match the category you want to keep.
