We are thrilled to announce the Support settings move to Admin Center! This migration enables admins to seamlessly manage Support and account settings from a single location. Settings are arranged in a logical breakdown and you don't have to switch between two separate interfaces. For details, see this Help Center article: About Support settings in Admin Center.
We have revamped Admin Center with a sleek, sophisticated look and feel. We have added features to streamline navigation, improve operability, and save you time and effort:
- Search feature lets you locate any line item in the left hand navigation and traverse there effortlessly. see Searching for settings in Admin Center.
- Recents feature maintains a list of the last five visited pages to make access quicker and easier.
- Expandable and collapsible navigation reduces amount of scrolling required.
Zendesk is giving you lots of time to adjust to this change. For the time being, you can view settings in both Support and Admin Center. This helps you compare settings and see how they have migrated. You can make changes in either location, without requiring duplication.
In early 2022, Zendesk will permanently remove the settings from Support and maintain them in their new Admin Center home. We will provide plenty of notice before that happens.
What do I need to do?
You don’t need to do anything. Your account will be updated automatically. Zendesk recommends using Admin Center to make settings updates, so you get a good feel for the new interface.
Why is Zendesk doing this?
Zendesk wants to make Admin Center the “go-to” location for admins to manage Zendesk products. Moving Support settings is the first step.
