Information in your Explore reports is synced from your Zendesk products on a schedule. The refresh interval, how often the data is synced, is either daily or hourly, depending on which Suite or Explore plan you have.
- Daily: Explore data updates once a day at midnight in the timezone of the account.
- Hourly: Explore data updates one hour after the most recent update has finished. The update time is randomized within the hour, and in some cases might take up to two hours to complete.
Plan | Refresh interval | |
---|---|---|
Suite | Suite Team | Daily |
Suite Growth | Daily | |
Suite Professional | Hourly | |
Suite Enterprise | Hourly | |
Suite Enterprise Plus | Hourly | |
Any Support or Sell plan with Explore | Explore Lite | Daily |
Explore Professional | Hourly | |
Explore Enterprise | Hourly |
Note: If there are no queries or dashboards accessed in Explore
for more than 30 days, the data refresh interval is automatically changed to weekly.
When at least one query or dashboard is accessed, the data refresh interval is
restored to normal. When a scheduled dashboard is sent, it counts as a dashboard
being accessed in Explore.

For the comment stating " If there are no queries or dashboards accessed in Explore for more than 30 days, the data refresh interval is automatically changed to weekly. When at least one query is accessed, the data refresh interval is restored to normal." What is defined as accessed in Explore? Does a query emailed out via a dashboard that is on a schedule count as accessing in Explore or does someone need to log into Explore at least once every 30 days?
Yes, Having a dashboard scheduled and sent also counts as accessed in Explore.
