Can I access Zendesk in Vietnam?
From time to time, customers in Vietnam have experienced issues with the ability to reach Zendesk services and other services outside of Vietnam for various reasons.
Zendesk doesn't have any data centers, cloud infrastructure, or service endpoints in Vietnam. Ultimately, Zendesk does not have any unique restrictions on the use of our services in Vietnam differentiated from other providers.
While Zendesk does not prohibit access to its products from Vietnam, it is not possible to guarantee the quality or reliability of service there as some Vietnam ISPs dynamically change what they block and permit access to, including the blocking of traffic from Vietnam to Zendesk points of presence. As one example, customers are generally able to interact with end users through email and chat, but customers are sometimes not able to use the Zendesk mobile apps and their own custom apps leveraging the Support and Chat mobile SDKs.
In general, it means that Zendesk will most likely work in Vietnam, but we cannot guarantee the quality or uptime of our services from locations within Vietnam. In addition, we have no visibility into network blocking in Vietnam to provide insights to customers. However, customers can reach out to their IT team, network administrator, and ISP to troubleshoot local network issues.
