For a file sharing solution, we recommend using the Dropbox for Sell or Google Drive for Sell apps to share folders with your customers. You can also integrate your email with Zendesk Sell and attach documents to your leads, contacts, and deals to keep your email attachments in Sell.
A client space is a web-hosted portal that your contacts can easily access with a web browser. You need admin rights to set up a client space.

Setting up your client space
You set up the client space once and then invite deal contacts into their own view of it. You must have admin rights to set up the client space for your Sell account.
To set up your client space
- Click the Settings icon (), then click Tools > Client space.
- Enter the information that appears on your client space page and is visible to all of your customers.
You can edit the details at any time.
- To add sales material and other documents to your page, click Browse to locate and upload the files.
- Click Save changes.
You are prompted to preview your client space, where you can edit if necessary.Note: You can also set up your client space for the first time from a Deals card: in the Activity stream, click the Client Space tab. If you set up the client space from a Deals card, then the third prompt is instead to return to that deal and invite your deal contacts into their view of your new client space.
- Choose one of the three options to complete the setup of your client space.
Inviting deal contacts to your client space
When you create a deal for a customer (a contact) you can then invite them into your client space.
To invite deal contacts to your client space
- On the Sell sidebar, click the Deals icon (), and click the deal you want to create a client space for.
- Click the Client Space tab.
Note: If you haven’t already set up your client space using the steps described above, you’ll be prompted to set up your client space for the first time. To set it up, click Set up the client space.
- Choose the deal contacts that you want to invite to your client space.
- Click Save changes.
The contacts you selected will receive an email invitation to create a password and access the client space. For example:

I'd like to invite you to join my client space ( https://space.futuresimple.com/gelatosystems).
The client space is a common area outside of email for us to work together. With everything in one central location, I think you'll find it a useful way to streamline our conversations and host important files. You'll never have to sift through emails again.
To log in, click this invitation to the client space and create a password.

When the deal contact follows the link and creates a password, they'll see their own view of your client space.
They can then post comments and interact with you (the deal owner).
You can see all comments added to the client space on the deal card on the Client Space tab.
