Ideally, users will verify their own email addresses as soon as they receive a verification email. In case they can't locate the verification message, you can resend it. To resend a verification email, your Help Center must be active.
- Open the user's profile.
- Locate the user's primary email address and click the menu icon (down arrow) next to the address.
- Select Resend verification email.
Another verification email is sent to the user, so they can verify their email address.
If you're an account owner, you can resend your own verification email. Click your profile icon on the upper right of the page and select View profile. Then, open the email menu in your profile and select Resend verification email.
Another option, is to send or resend a verification email using the Zendesk API. For more information on how to utilize the API to verify email addresses, see Request user verification API endpoint and Verify email API endpoint.
Hello, why might the resend verification email option be greyed out? I've updated someone whose account was created a year ago to Team Leader temporarily and I'm being told he needs to verify his email by one of our agents. She sent him the email but he is saying he doesn't see it anywhere (not even in spam). As an Admin, I'm not able to re-send this to him. Is there something else we should be doing? Should we ask him to click on the "forgot my password" link? Thanks,
Since the issue involves credentials. We will create a ticket on your behalf. Thanks!
