Can I pre-populate the Order ID field for Shopify in Zendesk?

      Is there anyway to find out order id/number via tickets API, I can see custom fields added for Shopify ID but all of them are null. However when viewing on Zendesk Dashboard GUI the Shopify widget is rendered correctly with Order Details.

    Sorry but the answer makes no sense, at least not anymore.  The Shopify widget populates info automatically based on the Zendesk customer's email address and does not require any manual order entry.

    Hi all. I am testing the Shopify integration. After i have installed the integration, a custom ticket field called "Shopify order ID" is available. But it doesn't seem to do anything in the ticket sidebar app. I would have expected it to at least "highlight" the correct order, but it doesn't. Am I missing something?

    Hi Jens,
    The purpose of the Shopify Order ID field is to serve as an attribute in Explore. As of the moment, there's not feature that can be used to automatically populate it.

    At this time, Shopify integration hasn't changed specifically to pre-populate the Order ID field in Zendesk. I can imagine, it would be incredibly helpful to be able to pre-populate this field for better visibility and reporting purposes.
