Important: This integration is only available for customers using the Legacy versions of Zendesk Chat. For help determining which version you have, see Determining your Zendesk Chat account version.
If you use Magento, follow one of the sets of steps below to add the Zendesk Chat widget to your site.
To add the Zendesk Chat widget via the admin page
- On the Magento Admin page, click on System > Configuration.
- In the sidebar, click General > Design > HTML Head or Footer.
- Paste your Zendesk Chat live chat script code into the Miscellaneous Scripts or Miscellaneous HTML box.

- Click Save Config.
To add the Zendesk Chat widget via Magento Go
- On the Magento Go Admin page, click on System > Configuration.
- In the sidebar, click General > Design > HTML Head or Footer.
- Paste your Zendesk Chat live chat script code into the Miscellaneous HTML box.

To add the Zendesk Chat widget via Magento Connect
- From the Magento Admin page, select System > Magento Connect.
- Paste the following extension URL in the Paste extension key to install field under Install New Extensions: http://connect20.magentocommerce.com/community/Zopim_Live_Chat
- Click Install.
- Return to the Magento Admin page and select Zopim Live Chat > Account Setup.
- Enter your Zendesk Chat login information and click Link Up.
