Installing Zendesk Chat for Squarespace

Important: This integration is only available for customers using the Legacy versions of Zendesk Chat. For help determining which version you have, see Determining your Zendesk Chat account version.

If you use Squarespace, follow one of the sets of steps below to add the Zendesk Chat to your site.

To add the Zendesk Chat widget on all pages

1. From the left hand side nav in Squarespace, click Settings > Website > Advanced.
2. Click on Code Injection.
   
   
3. Enter your Zendesk Chat embed code.
   
   Note: To find your Zendesk Chat embed code, see this article.
   
   
4. Click Save to apply the changes. The widget now appears on all pages of your site.

To add the Zendesk Chat widget on a specific page

1. From the left hand side nav in Squarespace, click Pages.
2. Click the gear icon next to the page you want to edit to open the Settings window.
   
   Note: To find your Zendesk Chat embed code, see this article.
3. Click Advanced on the upper right side of the Settings window.
4. Paste your Zendesk Chat embed code under Page Header Code Injection.
5. Click Save to apply the changes. The widget now appears on the selected page of your site.
