By default your Zendesk Support ticket ID will start at 1, then increase. If you want your ticket IDs to begin at another number, you can manually set the starting number for the ticket ID counter. This change does not affect any current tickets existing in your account, only new tickets moving forward.
- In Admin Center, click the Objects and rules icon () in the sidebar, then select Tickets > Settings.
- In the

number into the
You can increase your current ticket ID but you cannot decrease the number.Note: The value must be greater than the latest ticket ID number. The value cannot be more than nine digits.
- Click Save tab.
