Announcing the removal of end user API endpoints in Support

Zendesk is retiring the following end user API endpoints:

• GET /api/v2/end_users/{user_id}
• PUT /api/v2/end_users/{user_id}

Why is Zendesk making this change?

These endpoints are being removed due to historically low usage, a high proportion of erroneous requests, and the potential security risk related to allowing end users to access Zendesk APIs. This change will also enable us to focus more on developing new functionality and improving existing tools that are more heavily relied-upon.
