Analyzing your Zendesk Sell activities

Zendesk Explore features a prebuilt dashboard to help you monitor your Zendesk Sell activities. The Activities dashboard can help you identify information about your sales emails, calls, tasks, appointments, and visits.

Tip: You can edit and customize the Activities dashboard by cloning it (see Cloning dashboards). If you need something more complex, you can write your own reports using a wide range of metrics and attributes. For details, see Creating reports.

Accessing the Activities dashboard

Use the following procedure to access the Activities dashboard.

To access the dashboard

1. In Explore, click the Dashboard icon () in the left sidebar.
2. From the list of dashboards, click the Zendesk Sell dashboard.
3. Click the Activities tab.

Understanding the Activities dashboard reports

Note: The information in Explore dashboards is updated on a schedule. The schedule depends on which Explore plan you are using. For details, see Data refresh intervals for Explore reporting.

The Activities dashboard shows information about your Sell activities, such as emails, calls, tasks, appointments, and more. You can filter the reports on the dashboard by Time, Activity owner, Lead owner, Lead owner groups, and Deal owner.

Activities dashboard headline metrics

This dashboard displays the following headline metrics (KPIs) for the time range you specify:

• Emails sent: Displays the total number of emails sent in Zendesk Sell.
• Calls made: Displays the total number of outgoing calls made in Zendesk Sell.
• Calls received: Displays the total number of incoming calls made in Zendesk Sell.
• Text sent: Displays the total number of texts sent in Zendesk Sell.
• Appointments held: Displays the total number of appointments held in Zendesk Sell.

Activities dashboard reports

This dashboard displays the following reports for the time range and data filters you specify:

• Activities on leads per month: Displays a column chart showing the different activities performed for leads, broken out by month.

  

• Activities on deals per month: Displays a column chart showing the different activities performed for deals, broken out by month.

  

• Average activities on closed deals: Displays a bar chart showing the different activities performed for closed deals, broken out by won or lost.

  

• Activities per region (top 10): Displays a column chart showing the total number of activities performed for the top 10 regions.

  

• Activities per lead industry (top 10): Displays a bar chart showing the total number of activities performed for the top 10 industries.
