Zendesk will be performing scheduled maintenance on the WhatsApp Business API Clients hosted on our EU and US platforms. We have chosen to increase the maintenance window duration to spread the upgrades and reduce the load they generate on our infrastructure. Note that each WhatsApp Business API Client will be upgraded separately.

*WhatsApp numbers hosted in the US region will only be affected from one of the two US maintenance windows.
Customers affected: All customers using a WhatsApp number on the WhatsApp hosted infrastructure. This excludes WhatsApp Cloud API customers.
Affected products: WhatsApp messages within Sunshine Conversations and Support.
Expected behavior: During this operation, customers may experience a brief period of WhatsApp message delay lasting less than 5 minutes. During this maintenance window, the rest of the Sunshine Conversations platform will remain unaffected and no service interruption will occur on any other parts of the platform.
When the upgrade of each API client is complete, WhatsApp message delivery will be fully restored, no messages will be lost, and no action will be required on your part.
Why we’re doing this: We will be upgrading all API clients from version 2.39.3 to the patched release 2.39.4 due to a regression introduced by WhatsApp which will affect clients billing.
