What is changing?
Starting on November 3, 2022, you will see an improved user experience for all Zendesk supported browsers that have cookie restrictions. Users are no longer asked to enable cross-site tracking when they use browsers that block third-party cookies.
Why is Zendesk making this change?
As Zendesk continues to evolve, we want to ensure a consistent, streamlined, and secure user experience for authentication. We have already fixed cross-site tracking in late 2020 for Safari (including iOS), Firefox, and Edge. Now the same solution is being uniformly rolled out for all Zendesk supported browsers.
The solution in place makes sure that those browsers do not require cross-site tracking to be enabled, which protects users' privacy. Also, through this change, we have fixed the sign-in experience to make it completely seamless for users.
What do I need to do?
This feature is automatically available in your account. It is uniformly available for all your agents and end users.
